I was ingratiated by the sunset because of her sensitivity as she tried to push the darkness back for just a moment more.
But like so many times before...To no avail!
As I write this, I’m reminded of how time can feel so fast. The weight of yesterday crushes me like a stone.
Yet here’s a question that will never fade: “Did you see what happened to your expectations?”
Or am I just trying to figure out the difference between sleep and sleep?
Does that last longer than I thought? Or is it the opposite?
When I look at the sky, sometimes my imagination helps me understand why something feels so right.
It’s hard not to be struck by how things feel so intertwined. This sense of timelessness makes me think about how even the smallest things can carry such profound weight.
Sunset often seems to wait for us in our silence, offering quiet solace while we scramble to catch our breath.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the tension between seeing and not seeing. The separation of day from night, both as physical and emotional boundaries, makes me realize just how fragile this relationship can be.
As I step into this moment, I’m reminded that what we see is always more than it feels. But sometimes, that’s hard to admit when the light seems so short.
A few moments ago, I thought about the beauty of sunset and its impermanence—until one last glance before the day ends, I can’t help but wonder how long this experience will remain in my memory.
