On端午节 Sunday morning, we all gathered in the quiet corner of the living room for a family tradition: watching the colorful floatation of red and yellow boats, enjoying the rhythm of the drumsticks. As the game progressed, many people started shouting and waving as the boats swayed on the water. The children and parents were laughing and shouting at each other, sharing stories and laughter while watching.
The grand opening ceremony was held at 8:30 AM, with red and white boats representing the blue and yellow teams competing side by side. This event, which has become a traditional family tradition in our village, emphasized the importance of unity and hard work when facing challenges.
The rules for the competition were clear during the initial stages. Red team队员 made their team feel weaker by swaying slightly to the left before the blue team started their push forward. With the beat of a drumstick blowing loud and the team's enthusiastic energy, blue team members succeeded in catching up quickly. The victory was declared when the blue team reached the end line.
The children and parents were both happy and joyful as the competition progressed. The children couldn't stop cheering for their team, while the parents also looked forward to seeing how hard they would work again next year. This spirit of perseverance and unity among family members made the event even more memorable.
Through this experience, I learned two things: first, that it's important to keep working hard and never give up; second, that achieving success requires both hard work and perseverance from every individual involved. These lessons stayed with me as I moved forward in my studies and career.
